Required information
A valid notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed.
- Identification of the material to be removed, including URL.
- Your contact information (mailing address, phone, email).
- A good-faith statement that the use is not authorized.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
We may terminate the accounts of repeat infringers. Knowingly making a material misrepresentation in a DMCA notice may result in liability under § 512(f).
